The new 12 volt industry trade group, MES FAMILY, which launches November 27, has announced its first vendors, its Board of Directors and a new early membership program for a limited number of dealers.
The first vendors to support the new industry trade group are Metra Electronics, JVCKenwood, and display merchandising company, AudioStak.
The MES Family trade group is an outgrowth of the industry Facebook group, Mobile Electronics Syndicate, where 4,400 dealers, reps, and suppliers help other dealers by sharing trade knowledge. The new MES Family becomes a formal industry trade group with services including an advanced vehicle fit guide, point of sale software, instructional YouTube videos and business mentoring.
While the group does not officially launch until after Thanksgiving, it is opening a limited early membership to 20 dealers. For more information contact [email protected]
The group said it just launched its MES Family Youtube channel and is in the process of recording and building content for tutorials.

All MES Family members receive access to a vehicle fit guide that incorporates car audio products from many suppliers. So instead of a salesperson or technician looking up an amplifier on one vendor site and subwoofer on another, he can consult a single fit guide for the customer’s vehicle.
