Nakamichi Ships DSP Next Month

Nakamichi Car Audio announced a new digital signal processor (DSP) for the car to ship next month.  The company’s first DSP will be on display at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas next week.

The new ND S-6120 is a “premium matrix processor” that accepts up to 6 channels of active speaker level inputs, line level and digital audio inputs, while providing up to 12 channels of output.

The unit offers signal summing, time delay correction, filter settings and a 31-band parametric EQ.

Plug in options include a Bluetooth interface that allows DSP set up via a smartphone.  Another option is a wired digital remote with OLED display allowing the driver to control  basic functions.

Suggested retail price is $649.95.

Nakamichi will display at the SEMA Show booth #11632, North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
